M004A Snap Button Pull Tester


Overview

Button Snap Pull Tester M004A, To determine the holding or breaking strength of the snaps, buttons or fixed accessories attached onto garments. Aim at providing the strict reference basis for garments manufacturers, to ensure the snaps, buttons and fixed accessories can be fixed on garments properly, so as to prevent from snap button fall off and swallow risks for infants.

Working Principle

Clamp the sample attached with attachment( like snap button) on the fabric fixture at the bottom of machine. Select the suitable fixture and install it onto push and pull force gauge. Clamp the attachment on the fabric and apply the pulling force to pull the attachment away from fabric and measure the force value. Or apply a certain of pulling force value and time to test whether the attachment can firmly connect to fabric.

 

This unit consists of a high precision force gauge, a firm stand and various grips. The specimen accorded with test standards is to be fixed horizontally, then conduct the vertical tensile test on various buttons on garments. The detachment of buttons or other fixed accessories may be classed as small parts, meanwhile, the broken small parts may be required sharp edge and sharp point tests. Hence, extra testing instruments may be recommended, including below:
